I think its more worth it to fill out HM books in my opinion.

raptors by far. Basically anything can farm em easily and you get OK rep points for the time it takes you.

5k pts/hr for doing raptor caves (if you're good) and about 9k/hr filling out books.

This weekend it'll be 2x for bounties and quests, not books, so raptors will be better over the weekend.

If you're doing this over the weekend I'd suggest vanquish zones that you haven't already done to kill two birds at once, then just do HM books. Just because the book rewards aren't doubled doesn't mean the quest rewards doing the books aren't, plus it's not near as insanely boring as raptor farming so you might actually play longer. I know I'd stop soon after starting raptors.

no you basically only get double points from killing foes and i tihnk quest rewards too, book rewards arent affected

Starting at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) on Friday, you will earn double Asura, Deldrimor, Ebon Vanguard, and Norn reputation points for completing quests and defeating foes while under the effects of a shrine bonus. Points for completed books are unaffected. This boost will last through 11:59 PM Pacific (-7 GMT) on Sunday.

Magus Stones has a good amount of bosses, so by the time you get to the end boss you get a nice fat boss kill. Take a look at wiki and check out the maps and spawns for the Magus Stones area. With a H/H team HM I usually get 5-6k rep per clear depending on bonuses la la la. So a potential clear of 10k per run is not too shabby
